The author of the trading book Simple Sector Trading Strategies is the legendary American  financial market analyst – John J. Murphy. John J.Murphy has been in the trading market long enough to be considered as the father of inter-market technical analysis and he has been authored a considerably amount of books in which the most famous one is the book with the title technical Analysis of the Futures Markets; in which he later revised and broadened this book into Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets. John J.
